We are in a quiet area yet only 2 blocks from Soi Buakhao, 4 blocks from 2nd Road in Pattaya. It’s a short ride or walk to Beach Road to our Guestouse and a short ride to the famous "Walking Street ". We are an American owned and operated business and we welcome all Thailand visitors to stay with us, we want to make your stay, a fun and pleasant one here in Pattaya. Thailand is known as the land of smiles and friendly faces.
BI Guest house is located above the Pizza Plus Cafe and
Friendly's Restaurant, so a late night snack or dinner is no problem to
dine in or deliver to your room if you want. Our daily room rates
include a 65 Baht credit for breakfast or lunch, for those of you who
get up late. We are small enough to serve you with a friendly smile and
great personal service. You will find our staff more than willing to
assist you with most of your needs while you are on holiday here in
Pattaya Thailand staying in our very comfortable guesthouse

and needs. Our small and medium rooms are good for the budget minded
who will visit us for just a few days. Our large 1 room and 2 room
units are for those who will be visiting us for 2 weeks or more, and we
have a few 3 room apartments for those who want more room and plan to

Taxi From Bangkok To Pattaya Service
The drive down to BI Guest-House is about 147 kilometers
from Bangkok. It takes around 2 hours by taxi from the
airport. It will cost about 1500-2000 baht for the trip by private car
or taxi. You can also make trip cheaper by using the Bus Service at the
airport or in Bangkok. One of the regular air-conditioned buses will
take you directly to Pattaya, which departs from the airport or
Bangkok's Eastern Bus Terminal on the Sukumvit Road or from the
Northern Bus Terminal and reaches Pattaya within two hours. After
arriving at the city centre you can conveniently catch a
minibus or taxi to reach any location in Pattaya safely. The cost for
the bus and local Pattaya taxi, around 800 baht. A word of caution,
this should be done by the experienced Thailand traveler and not the
first timer, because you can get lost or one the wrong bus. Having us
at BI Guesthouse, pick you up and directly transport you to Pattaya is
the best way to assure that the many Professional Sharks located and
waiting for you at as you leave the airport terminal or most anywhere
in Bangkok, does not sucker you into sometime more than you wanted or
needed. The cost is about 1600 Baht depending on your arrival time.
The Pattaya restaurants of BI Guesthouse, serves both Thai foods as
well as American/European delights which would surely leave you craving
for more! You can take your favorite drink and unwind at our mini-bar
which is located in Friendly’s Restaurant and meet friends or just

Every year in April the water festival takes place in Thailand and most south East Asian countries. It is held to wish for a lot of rain for the rice crops. While this festival is friendly in most other countries it is especially interesting and festive in Pattaya Thailand. Sometimes a little to festive actually and the death toll on the roads increase during this period to nearly 1000…regardless it’s a fun festival to participate in.
Most Thais also engage in a number of activities, like cleaning houses, making merit and giving alms, releasing birds and fish, bathing Buddha images, paying one's respects to elders by pouring water on their hands and asking for their blessings, throwing water at one another, and engaging in merry making. Most cities and towns also hold a Miss Songkran beauty contest, and as with most Asian women their beauty is exceptional. Besides, the splashing is definitely a welcome relief to the hot weather that reigns in Thailand at that time of the year.
As in every part of the country during this festival a pail of water might be thrown on you. It might be a good idea to have your own water ready also to defend yourself! Several events are scheduled in Papayas: one of the country's top holiday destinations, where Sonqkran can last for a week, culminating on April 19th of every year. A parade is held in the city during this day ending up on Beach Road where cultural shows are held. If you are coming to Thailand make sure to have reservations because things book up quickly. PAPAYA BEACH BUS
Designed to help tourists get around more conveniently, the Pattaya beach bus service consists of three lines - Green, Red and Yellow. These cover the main streets of Pattaya, Naklua and Jomtien. Each line has been assigned a different color to make it easier for passengers to identify the routes. Bus stops are also color coded and numbered so passengers know where to board and disembark.

Green Line: Big C - South Pattaya Road Pattaya 2 Road (reverse route = Beach Road) Dolphin Roundabout - Naklua Road - Soi DO Potisan - Sukhumvit Road (back to Big C). elbow Eider: Big C - Sukhumvit Road - Few Thepprasit Road - Thappraya Road over the hill - Pattaya 3 Road - North Pattaya Road Dolphin Roundabout - North Pattaya Road Sukhumvit Road (back to Big C) Red Line: Big C - Sukhumvit Road - Soi Chaiyapruek - Jomtien Beach Road - Dongtan Corner - Thappraya Road over the hill - Pattaya 2 Road (reverse route = Beach Road) - Dolphin Roundabout - Naklua Road - Banglamung Police
Getting Around

Fare is Bt30 one-way. One-day passes available at Bt90. three-dav Gasses at Btl 80.
and one-month passes for Bt900 baht.
SONGTHAEWS
Songthaews (pickup | trucks) ply the main bay area for a set fare of EtlO-Bt30 per passenger, depending on distance.
MOTORCYCLE AND BIKES
For Bt500 a day. you can hire a motorcycle, but you need a license to drive in Pattaya. Beachside vendors also have bikes for rent. Ride down the Jomtien
Beach road at BtlOO a day. or Bt 20 a hour.
and Pattaya Car Rent Center. There are wide choices of cars, and other four-wheeled vehicles. All cars are fully insured and up to international car hire standards.
PATTAYA TO BANGKOK
Some hotels have limousine service to Suvarnabhumi airport or to downtown Bangkok at Bt1,500 - Bt2,000 per trip. Taxis usually charge around Bt1,000 for the same trip.
BUS TRANSFERS
Roong Reung coach service runs air-conditioned buses from Pattaya North Road (See map) to Bangkok's Ekamai Bus Terminal (Sukhumvit Road) every 30 minutes (daily from 5:30 a.m. until 9 p.m.) Bus fare is Bt110 per trip.
Air-con buses from Pattaya also leaves every 30 minutes to Eangkok's Northern Bus Temminal (Mon hid, Phaholyothin Rd.) from 5:30 am. - 7 p.m. Bus fare is Bt99. From here, passer~ers can connect with bus service to Norm Thadand (Chiang Mai).
